The office was in a festive mood as the steering committee relayed the news that Obinna Onunkwo had joined the advisory board of the Lagos Retail Festival. Mr Obinna is the managing partner at Purple Capital partners limited,    financiers of the Maryland mall, Bishopgate estate and the Art Hotel. He is a    seasoned securities specialist with a    rich background in investment banking, asset management, equities research and trading and has over the years being lead fund manager in many mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, equity raising and valuations through the various capacities in which he has served. He has worked with Guardian Express Bank Plc, Spring Capital Markets Limited, Kedari Capital Limited. Alternative Capital Partners overseeing assets over # 20bilion naira He is on the Board of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc.
