Selling like a Pro: a guide for vendors at trade events

Everywhere you turn these days there is a trade event or the other suggesting that vendors are needed at the event. The numbers increase drastically as we approach the end of the year. Unfortunately, the feedback from most vendors is that their sales objectives are not always fulfilled. First thing to note, is that you not selling as a vendor at an event doesn’t mean other vendors didn’t sell out or achieve their goals. The second thing to note about selling at a trade event is that; (especially one with many vendors competing for limited shoppers ) you must stand out, you must be different. Think about it, if you were a shopper faced with similar stall sizes, selling identical products with other vendors for an event with a limited time. It becomes any vendor’s game or it becomes the vendor who came well prepared. However, if you use the tools below you stand a chance at selling out your stock like a pro. 1.        Brand ...

France wins the world cup again

Exactly 20 years after their first world cup victory on home soil,France again wins the world cup with a coach, whom was one of the 1998 winners in Russia The final was special with Kylian Mbappe showing much mettle for his age with a goal to his name  and winning the Young player award. The 19 year old is the second teenager, only after Pele in 1958 to score in a world cup finals. His goal put the nail in the coffin for any hopes of a Croatian comeback in a match that ended 4-2. Curious to note is that Mbappe wasn't even born when France last won the world cup. France caught a lucky break early with a header by Manduzkic into Subacic net, which was an ill fated attempt to keep the ball out of reach from the prowling French attackers. The second goal came from a penalty taken by Greizmann which was awarded via the virtually assisted referee due to a hand ball by Perisic whom had only just scored to bring the game level at 1-1 Paul Pogba showed his dexterity by scor...

France breaks Belgian hearts at Saint Peterburg

Saint Petersburg's stadium  witnessed one of the most keenly contested matches in the world cup, as France stops Belgium's run towards the world cup final. The Belgian team did a good job of holding onto to the ball, but it was the quick pace of the French team which saw Mbappe, Pogba, Oliver Giroud, Tolisso that put much pressure on Thibaut Courtois on every counter attack. The Belgian team had more than 60% ball possession, but the 51st minute header that resulted in the lone goal of the match from Samuel Umtiti was to be the heart wrenching arrow to Belgian hopes of an appearance in the world cup finals. The Belgians lose with the heads held high and will paly the loser of the England -Croatia match in the 3 rd place match. .........................................
